We are recruiting two motivated Clinic Support Assistants to join our Griffith Health Clinics team. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to clinical staff within the Dental Clinic and help ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. As a Clinic Support Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including patient registration, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing support to medical staff as needed.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Greet and register patients and assist with the scheduling of appointments.
- Ensure all patient information and medical records are accurately maintained.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Well established organisational and administrative skills, including time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, and external clients.
- A strong client focus, excellent presentation, and a demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.

These are continuing, full-time positions and will be primarily based at the Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus.
As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 3 range $63,354 - $70,033 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $74,125 - $81,938 per annum.
